Project Management
Over the course of two years with Chapman University’s Program Board (UPB), I significantly contributed to organizing and executing high-impact events. As the Graduate Assistant, I guided the executive team of 10 students in planning over 50 events, managing a substantial six-figure budget, and overseeing marketing strategies, including social media and promotional campaigns. My role also involved developing assessment plans to track event success and engaging with key partners, both on and off campus.
In my role as Director of Special Events and Traditions, I led a team of over 20 students in producing six major events throughout the year. My responsibilities included coordinating logistics, vendor management, and marketing strategies, while maintaining strong relationships with top talent agencies and production companies.

Fall Speaker
The Fall Speaker event took place at Chapman University’s Musco Center for the Arts. This was a moderated speaker event with Max Greenfield, who’s best known for playing Schmidt on the TV show, New Girl. Tickets sold out within 15 minutes of being released with over 950 attendees.

Fall Concert
Chapman’s annual Fall Concert was held at the City National Grove of Anaheim with Sean Kingston, opened by Claire Rosinkranz. This was the first time UPB had held a concert off of campus since before the pandemic, and we had the most amount of attendees in the history of Fall Concerts at Chapman University with just over 1,400 students.

Fall Midnight Breakfast
Midnight Breakfast is a Chapman University tradition where UPB offers free breakfast food to students on the first night of finals week each semester. At this event, there were also performances by various student performing groups like dances and acapella. Throughout the night we had a little over 1,300 students attend and take a break from their finals.

Drag Brunch
Each year UPB produces a drag event on campus and my event was a Drag Brunch that took place on the lawn of Musco Center for the Arts. This brunch event featured a performance by Chapman Stilettos, and showcased performances by Darienne Lake, Miz Cracker, Brita Filter, and Judas Joe Manson. Our tickets sold out in no time and we had over 600 attendees, making this the largest drag show in Chapman’s history!

Spring Sizzle
A campus-wide favorite is the annual Spring Sizzle. Chapman’s 29th annual Spring Sizzle which was held in the center of campus and featured free food, games, an inflatable obstacle course, merchandise, and a 360° camera. It brought the entire campus together to have the opportunity to spend time with and have fun with one another. Attendance for this event was around 3,500 people, including students, faculty, staff, and prospective families!
