Internship

Role: Graphic Design Intern Scope: Social Media Graphics, Cross-Platform Asset Production, In-Game Assets, Stadium Visuals, Motion Graphics, Email Marketing, Brand Collateral Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Box Out Sports, DMP-8000 Player
As a Graphic Design Intern with the Orange County Riptide, a California Collegiate League baseball team competing at the NCAA Division I level, I design visual assets supporting the team's presence across digital platforms and stadium environments. My work spans real-time in-game asset creation and full promotional asset suites for themed nights, including cross-platform social media graphics, motion graphics for live video board display, and email marketing assets

After the visual direction I developed for one of the first non-theme games of the season resonated with the team, I was asked to extend it into a reusable template system now used for game announcements, in-game score updates, and post-game recaps. I also designed the starting lineup template used every game across both broadcast and Instagram Story formats, and collaborated with a fellow intern to build a season-wide graphic assignment system, covering interest intake, coordination, and deadlines, across 30+ games. Within the first month of the 2026 season, graphics have generated 800+ likes and 150+ shares across Instagram and Facebook.

More information to come throughout the Summer!

Theme Night – Father’s Day:

Father's Day graphics and promotional assets were used across social media, email marketing, and stadium displays for the team's highest-attended game of the season (450+ attendees).

Theme Night – Ducks Hockey Night:

Ducks Hockey Night graphics and promotional assets were used across social media, email marketing, and stadium displays, supporting a themed night featuring Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing, recently retired broadcaster Steve Carroll, and the Ducks street team. The game day post generated 139 likes and 55 shares on Instagram, the highest-performing graphic of the season.

Theme Night – Bark in the Park:

Game Day Promo Social Media Graphics:

All social media graphics were adapted across three formats (Instagram Feed Post, Instagram/Facebook story, Facebook/X landscape) to maintain visual consistency across platforms.

Following the success of the June 10th game day graphic, I was asked to develop templates in the same visual direction. Using Box Out Sports, I created reusable templates for game announcements that the content team and the General Manager could update quickly while staying on-brand.

Designed a reusable away game template adopted by the content team for use on all social platforms throughout the season

Additional Social Media and Broadcast Graphics:

Graphics designed to announce the 2026 CCL All-Star Game selected players, sized for Instagram and email marketing.

Graphics created in Box Out Sports for OC Riptide’s Kids Summer Skills Camp, adapted across multiple social platforms.

Using Box Out Sports, I designed starting-lineup templates for each game's Instagram Story, which were posted prior to first pitch. I also collaborated with a fellow intern to create score update templates for home and away games, which the content team used throughout each game.

Starting lineup graphics produced in Box Out Sports for OC Riptide’s live broadcast, templated with home and away team formats.

Selected work – updated throughout Summer 2026. Please contact me for more information.
