Stranger Sings!
The Parody Musical

In Fine Company – Internship/Freelance

Role: Graphic Design Marketing Intern Scope: UX/Web Design, Email Marketing, Market Research, Copywriting Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Squarespace
Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical is a licensed production performed by schools, community theaters, and amateur companies worldwide. I supported marketing, design, and engagement initiatives to facilitate international licensing.

A key challenge was identifying qualified potential licensees and communicating with them effectively while working within an established brand system and maintaining consistency across global touchpoints.

Market Research: I conducted global market research to identify potential licensees, including theater producers, community theaters, and academic programs. The insights directly informed licensing outreach and shaped email strategy and UX decisions to make information accessible and actionable for each audience segment.

Email Campaigns:

Assisted with email campaigns sent to over 8,500 recipients, supporting copywriting and layout adjustments to optimize user experience.

Web Design:

Designed a dedicated webpage showcasing upcoming and past licensed shows globally. The site included dates, links to productions/theaters/companies, and a global photo gallery, with each image linked to the relevant theater or company. Focused on intuitive navigation, accessibility, and audience-specific content to make licensing information easy to find and engage with.

Graphics:

Adapted pre-existing key art and created additional supporting graphics, ensuring all assets aligned with the show’s visual identity while supporting marketing goals.

I did not develop the logo or assets within the keyart
